3 minors of the Trinidadians arrested for stabbing a boy in Madrid

Madrid, (EFE).- The Spanish security forces have arrested three minors related to the Trinitarios youth gang as suspects in the stabbing last Monday of a 14-year-old boy at the gates of the secondary school where he was studying, in the Madrid neighborhood of Puente de Vallecas.

As reported by the Police on Friday, those arrested are between 14 and 15 years old and were identified in less than 24 hours; They are accused of a crime of attempted murder and have been handed over to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

A fourth minor also identified as an aggressor is considered incompetent for being under 14 years of age, according to Spanish law. As indicated to Eph sources close to the investigation, the aggressors could have missed the target.

The 14-year-old adolescent of Spanish nationality left the educational center and entered a food establishment located just opposite.

When he left the premises, the four assailants were waiting for him, with two white weapons, who already on public roads stabbed him in the buttock and at the base of the neck, with a knife stuck near the clavicle.

After being attacked, the minor tried to take refuge in his own institute, where he vanished a few meters after entering through the outer door.

The director of the institute assured Efe that the young man was “not at all conflictive” and that there are no students with those characteristics in the center.

“The gangs are not a game”, that is the message that the Spanish Police tries to transmit in schools to young people who are at risk of being “captured” by these violent groups, which have caused four deaths this year in Madrid.

The age of entry into them has been 12 years, in a growing context of this type of crime in the country.

Puente de Vallecas is one of the Madrid districts with the greatest presence of numerous members of gangs such as the Trinitarios or the Dominican Don’t Play.
