The three prisoners who escaped last Sunday, September 22, from the Barinas Judicial Confinement Center (Injuba), were dejected after confronting the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.
The subjects were encased in the Las Lagunas farm, San Silvestre parish, Barinas municipality where a commission from the GNB arrived. Immediately, the subjects began a confrontation with the military in the midst of which they were dejected. They are identified as Diego Andrés Rojas Moreno, Arun Antonio Pineda Rubio and Jorge Luis González.
These subjects possessed two pistols and a revolver, weapons that were confiscated.
Due to the escape of Rojas, Pineda and González, the director of Injuba Johnny José Orozco Mocayo and three other officials from that prison were arrested.
In another procedure, GNB agents recaptured four prisoners who had escaped last Monday from the “Nelson Mandela” New Men Training Center located in La Pica (Monagas).
