The activity will be attended by the Minister of Housing, Tamara Paseyro, the president of MEVIR, Andrés Lima, the mayor of Colonia, Guillermo Rodríguez, as well as other national and departmental authorities, along with technical teams from the institution.
Detail of the intervention
The plan includes: 25 homes on MEVIR land (24 new and one re-allotment), 2 new homes in an urban area, and 1 new home in a rural area.
In total, the authorities delivered 28 housing solutions, consolidating access to housing in this area of the department.
Housing and community: more roots for Campana
Campana is located in the northwest of the department of Colonia, at kilometer 12 of Route No. 55, and its main reference city is Ombúes de Lavalle, 13 kilometers away. The town is located in an area with a strong agricultural profile, with emphasis on dairy and livestock production.
After the inauguration in Campana, MEVIR finalizes the Comprehensive Plan in the area. In the department of Colonia, the following plans continue to be implemented:
-Cerro Carmelo, with interventions on its own land.
-Barker, with homes on MEVIR land and its own land.
-Semillero (La Estanzuela), with homes on MEVIR land and its own land, soon to begin.
