A total of 25 panelas of marijuana were located in the backyard of a house located in Peracal, Simón Bolívar municipality (San Antonio del Táchira), according to military sources.
The drug was inside a zippered bag and totaled 13 kilos 455 grams, according to a report from the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), the component that carried out the procedure.
During the confiscation operation, Rodrigo José Jiménez Vásquez, who owns the house, was detained.
Also in Táchira, but at the La Pedrera checkpoint, military personnel seized 4 panelas of marijuana and two of cocaine that totaled 4 kilos 220 grams.
The stash was transported in a Ford Explorer truck driven by José Galicia Díaz, who was arrested along with his companion Yrwins Rafael Padrón Márquez.
Díaz and Padrón are part of a criminal organization called Los Wilsons. They came to Colombia and headed to Maracay, Aragua.
