235 people apprehended in operation Beta

According to a police report, during the last 24 hours in the country, the security forces apprehended 235 people and, together with the Public Ministry, carried out 74 search procedures.

Of those apprehended, 113 were for Offices, 74 for Administrative Offenses, 34 for Flagrancy, 11 for micro-trafficking, 3 for drug trafficking and the confiscation of B/. 3,172.00 in cash.

In addition, 6 firearms, 184 ammunition, 865 drug packages, 10 emergency evacuation, a seized boat and a recovered vehicle were seized, in addition to 961 foreigners who were processed to the National Immigration Service for not keeping their papers in order and other offenses.

The National Directorate of Transit Operations placed 2,178 violations of the Traffic Regulations, of these 487 were for speeding, 22 for proven drunkenness, 09 for alcoholic breath and 170 inappropriate lights, 23 for expired license and 28 for talking on a cell phone.
