According to information from the Public Ministry, the officers are Cristóbal Rafael Orozco and Edicvani José Díaz Lozano, both 32 years old.

At approximately seven in the morning of March 23, 2021, the 17-year-old adolescent went to a room of a colleague during a call for training to request a military garment.
During the teenager’s tour of the Academy facilities, she was intercepted by Captain Cristóbal Rafael Orozco, who “took her by the arm and forced her to enter her room, undressed her and threatened her with obscene words,” he said. the note.
At that moment, First Lieutenant Edicvani José Díaz Lozano arrived “and between them they sexually abused her for 20 minutes without her consent”, during the act “they forced her to have oral sex”.
Several days after the event, the teenager presented a health problem and was transferred to the infirmary area of the Military Academy, where “she was abused again by two hooded men who entered through one of the windows of the room,” said the Public ministry.

After several days, the 17-year-old teenager was able to leave the Military Academy and met with her relatives, “who denounced the aggressors before the Corps of Criminal and Criminalistic Scientific Investigations (CICPC) upon learning of what happened,” the note said. .
After the investigative work coordinated by the Public Ministry, both officers were detained by CICPC officials.
