The end of the year is approaching and many people sign up to receive various bonuses and credits to help them cope with the expenses of the holidays and routine.
Next we will tell you how to obtain a subsidy granted by the IPS (Social Welfare Institute) of Chile. We also tell you what the requirements must be met to receive them.
Who can receive the IPS subsidy?
This subsidy grants 22 thousand Chilean pesos to those people who are over 18 years old and are entering the world of work. This benefit is called Young Workers’ Contribution Subsidy.
Those who comply with all requirementsmay receive monthly payments of $22,000, which are added to their pension contributions until they are 35 years old, or one of the established conditions.
What are the requirements to apply for this subsidy?
- Be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Have a remuneration equal to or less than 1.5 minimum monthly income.
- Register less than 24 contributions in your AFP, continuous or discontinuous.
- Have social security contributions paid or declared (APF, health and work accident contributions).
Step by step to request the Young Workers Contribution Subsidy:
- Enter Mi Chile Atiende from IPS.
- Enter your RUT.
- Click on “Consult”.
- Do the Captcha.
Next, the application will tell you if you will be able to receive the benefit. If you have already made the request, it will show you its status. If you do not receive it, but you meet the conditions, you can apply through the same page with your Unique Code.
