The Brazilian Police investigate the shooting murder of the young soccer player Ricardo Emanuel Alcantarabetter known as Ricardinhowho played in the Rowing Club from Belém, and two other men, in the Amazonian state of Pará. “With great pain, everyone at Clube do Remo deeply regrets the tragic loss of the 22-year-old player Ricardinho,” the club said in a message shared on its social networks the day before.
The crime occurred on Monday in the municipality of Marituba, in the metropolitan area of Belém. The other two fatalities were identified as Daivison Lucas da Silva and Flavio de Jesus de Souza, the latter a friend of Ricardinho, according to witnesses cited by local media.

According to the ‘Ge’ portal, Flavio and Ricardinho were sitting after playing a soccer game, when a black vehicle approached the place and one of the occupants opened fire on them, also hitting Da Silva. The Homicide Department of the Civil Police of Pará opened an investigation and reported in a note that it has already requested various procedures to help clarify the triple murder.
Trained in the youth ranks of the team known as the ‘King of the Amazon’, Ricardinho was a forward and made his debut with the first team in January 2023. He was currently in the final stretch of his recovery after breaking the anterior cruciate ligament in his knee.
