2,187 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the country, this Sunday

The Ministry of Health reported that this Sunday there were 2,187 cases of Covid-19 in the country. With these, the accumulated number of infections, since 2020, reaches 1,003,400.

As in previous days, the departments of the central axis are the ones with the most infections: Cochabamba (713), La Paz (489) and Santa Cruz (438). Four people died on the day, as a result of complications from the disease.

Secondly, heThe patients recovered this Sunday are 1,977with which the total number of people who overcame the disease amounts to 921,714.

According to the Ministry, to date 14,521,091 vaccines have been applied in the national territory, distributed as follows: 6,276,782 as the first dose; 5,058,631 as second; 998,652 as a single dose; 1,864,411 as the third and 322,615 as the fourth dose. The report also details that 2,707,441 doses were administered to the age groups of 5 to 11 and 12 to 17 years.
