He maintained that the clandestine fuel deposits in Villa Elisa are time bomb, taking into account that they do not meet the requirements for the sale of hydrocarbons and the neighbors may be the most affected in the event of a fire, such as the one that occurred on Tuesday night.
Careaga commented that there are five identified neighborhoods that would be the most affected in Villa Elisa. However, he assured that there are more points in the area. “It is a bit difficult to quantify because there is a lot of fear due to the threats we have received since we denounced it,” he said.
“There is one (a deposit) in the Gloria Maria neighborhood which is where the explosion occurred last December. another in the neighborhood beautiful villageanother in the neighborhood San Juan that exploded yesterday and another one is in the neighborhood Center. There are five well-identified points but we believe there are more. When you talk to the neighbors, they mention other points that have been in force for at least ten years,” she said.
