With respect to the figure for the same month of 2021 (744,173 bpd)there was an increase in daily oil production corresponding to 1.26 percent. This is the first time during 2022 that Colombia reports production above 753,000 bpd.
This increase was mainly dueto higher production in the Caño Sur Este, Chichimene (Meta), Cohembí (Putumayo), Quicksilver, Jacana, Kitaro (Casanare) and Andina (Arauca).

At the end of the third quarter of the year, oil production reached an average of 750,343 barrels per day (bpd), higher than the production registered in the first and second quarters of the year, when it was 751,407 bpd and 752,294 bpd, respectively.
Regarding natural gas, the ANH reported that production during September was 1,097 million cubic feet per day (mcfd), which represented an increase of 0.93 percent compared to August of this year when it reached 1,087 mcfd. Compared to the figure for September 2021, production increased by 1.35 percent, since for that month it reached 1,082 mcfd.
This increase was achieved thanks to higher natural gas production in the Clarinete (Córdoba/Sucre), Cupiagua, Pauto Sur, Cupiagua Liria (Casanare), Cornamusa (Sucre) and Aguas Vivas (Córdoba).
