Colombia received this Wednesday a new batch of vcradles against covid-19. The Vice Minister of Public Health and Provision of Services, Luis Alexander Moscoso, explained that it is about 200,070 doses of vaccines from the Pfizer laboratory that “They are intended for the application of second doses of those who have already had the first application with this vaccine”.
It will also go to the pregnant population, both in first and second doses.

“This biological is very important and comes to complete vaccination schedules for the Colombian population and support the increase in coverage, in order to meet the goal of 70% of the population fully immunized by December 31“Moscoso added.
With this new batch, the country completes 68,853,654 doses of vaccines against covid-19 in its territory from all laboratories and through all mechanisms.

Promptly from Pfizer, Colombia has received 17,417,790, of which 15,200,640 correspond to arrivals through a bilateral mechanism and 2,217,150, via Covax.
