The Second Miranda Control Court issued a 20-year prison sentence against the former official of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) Ricardo Albert Rosas Reyes (20), after admitting his responsibility in the death of 22-year-old Jhon Jaider Londoño Mejía , reported the Public Ministry.
Such a situation occurred on June 10 in Guatire (Miranda). The night of that day, the aggressor planned a meeting with the victim in the El Calao neighborhood, to pay him money that he had lent him. Once at the agreed upon location, the former official and a teenager who was accompanying him at the time subdued and tied him up, and fired two shots at him with his service weapon to cause his death.
The victim’s wife reported Londoño’s disappearance to the Cicpc. The agents investigated and determined Rosas Reyes’ responsibility for the incident, which is why he was detained following an arrest warrant issued by the 2nd Control Court on July 6.
