Racing Club, one of the most popular clubs in Argentine soccer, beat 2-0 on Saturday banfield and took his second consecutive victory after starting the tournament with three losses. In the match played at the Florencio Sola stadium, Racing opened the scoring in the 27th minute through Marco Di Césare after a corner kick from the left.
The second goal for the team led by Gustavo Vostas was scored by Adrián Martínez in the 45th minute thanks to a penalty after a handball inside the area. “We knew it was going to be very hard because they arrived at a difficult time, like us in the first days, but we wanted to keep the streak going,” said Di Césare after the victory.
For its part, at the Tomás Ducó stadium, Huracán beat Sarmiento de Junín 1-0 with a goal from Juan Bizans in the 67th minute. In other games on Saturday, Atlético Tucumán beat Estudiantes de Río Cuarto 4-0, Belgrano won 1-0 against Independiente Rivadavia and Talleres beat Gimnasia de Mendoza 2-1.
