A total of 19 people injured is the initial result of a traffic accident that occurred this Thursday night in the tunnel on Bolívar Avenue, according to reports from security agencies.
The vehicle involved is a passenger minibus that was heading towards Plaza Venezuela, which collided with one of the walls of the tunnel.
Firefighters from Caracas went to the site to help the injured, who were taken to health centers, an operation that momentarily interrupted traffic on that road artery.
Among the injured are two minors.
