A day before, a flight, also operated by Eastern Airlines, arrived with 183 migrants deported from Phoenix, Arizona. Of that group, 151 are men and 32 are women “all ready to start a new stage.”
Upon arrival, the citizens were received by the authorities, security forces and the Red Cross to undergo various interviews, medical checkups and a review of their background, as has occurred with similar deportation flights.
“These actions by the National Executive reflect the constant search for peace and stability in the nation, as well as the commitment to all Venezuelans inside and outside the country,” highlighted the Ministry of the Interior.
