Through 17 search procedures carried out by the National Police in coordination with the Public Ministry through Operation Silver, the apprehension of 18 people required for their alleged relationship to the commission of criminal acts was achieved.
The raids were coordinated with the different prosecutors in the provinces of Colón, Panamá, Panamá Oeste, Los Santos, Coclé, Chiriquí and others.
The Police reported that a firearm, ammunition, drugs, technological equipment and two cars with a complaint against Economic Heritage were seized, in addition to several swine reported for Livestock Theft in central provinces.
It was learned that those apprehended will be followed by criminal charges for crimes of Rape, Theft, Forgery, Misappropriation, Illegal Possession of Firearms, Financial Crimes and more.
