Another 29 people died and 16,279 were reported with coronavirus in the last 24 hours in Argentina, which adds 117,008 deaths officially registered at the national level and 5,445,236 those infected since the beginning of the pandemic, the Ministry of Health.
The health portfolio indicated that there are 830 hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of occupation of adult beds in the public and private sector, for all pathologies, of 34.8% in the country and 36, 9% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.
Of the total infected, 5,253,705 were discharged and 74,523 are confirmed active cases.
The report stated that 17 men died; 6 in the province of Buenos Aires, 6 in Chubut, 1 in Corrientes, 1 in Córdoba, 1 in Misiones, 1 in Neuquén and 1 in Salta.
Meanwhile, 12 women died; 4 in the province of Buenos Aires, 2 in CABA, 4 in Chubut, 1 in Entre Ríos, and 1 in Santa Fe.
