A total of 158 Venezuelan migrants arrived this Friday at the Simón Bolívar International Airport of Maiquetía, aboard flight 57 of the return plan to La Patria, from Texas, United States (USA).
According to a note issued by the Office of Communicational Management of the Ministry of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, these are 118 men, 22 women, 11 children and 7 girls.
The nationals were received by the president of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria, Camilla Fabri and officials of the various citizen security agencies such as: the Corps of Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations (CICPC), Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (Sebin), Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), among others.
It is important to mention that since the resumption of the return plan to the country, last February of this year, more than 10 thousand nationals have returned to the country as part of the state’s effort in support of Venezuelans who are detained and persecuted in the United States.
After their landing, repatriated migrants in Venezuela went through the migratory tunnel, and then receiving medical attention from the Ministry of Popular Power for Health and other institutions of the Bolivarian Government.
Finally, the Venezuelan government reiterates its commitment to the protection and well -being of its citizens, facilitating their return and ensuring that they receive the necessary attention when they reach the country, as indicated by President Nicolás Maduro Moros, and the sector vice president of Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Captain Diosdado Cabello.
