The National Police reported today on the arrest of a 15-year-old teenager in relation to the death of her 17-year-old brother, which occurred in the Brisas del Mar sector, in Sábana de la Mar, Hato Mayor province.
The preliminary report indicates that the event occurred after a strong argument at their residence, where the teenagers were involved in an altercation that led to the tragic outcome.
«According to initial information, The minor would have acted in self-defense, since previously her brother had tried to attack her on other occasions,” said the uniformed.
He added that he has referred the case to the corresponding authorities and continues to carry out the relevant investigations to fully clarify the facts.
The young man’s body has been sent to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (INACIF) for the corresponding expert process.
