15 victims of migrant smuggling recovered in Chiriquí


Two coaster buses have been detained at the San Félix Bus Terminal, apprehending five alleged coyotes so far, including two Panamanians and three Nicaraguans.

The National Police, together with the Public Ministry and the National Border Service, developed the Fénix operation, against the crime of migrant smuggling in the province of Chiriquí, where they recovered 15 victims of Nicaraguan nationality, including a minor.

Two coaster buses have been detained at the San Félix Bus Terminal, apprehending five alleged coyotes so far, including two Panamanians and three Nicaraguans.

The persons apprehended during this operation will be placed under the orders of a Judge of Guarantees.
