In 2025, as part of the strategy Attention to the Causes of Violencein Puebla 144 were carried out Days for Peace and 218 state and municipal Peace and Civic Justice Councils were installed.
When presenting the report on the activities of said axis, during the Conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum, the head of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguezpointed out that, in conjunction with the Secretariat of National Defense, the Catholic Church and state authorities, modules of “Yes to Disarmament, Yes to Peace”in 25 municipalities of the entity.
Thus, between October 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025, 386 firearms were exchanged, anonymously and voluntarily, for cash.
Secretary Rodríguez indicated that the Peace Tablesboth in the state and in the 11 regions, and in coordination with authorities from the three levels of government, governability and security actions were generated.

He thanked the governor for his collaboration. Alejandro Armenta Mierwho headed all the sessions, with the participation of his state cabinet.
In total, he said, 267 sessions of the State Peace Roundtables and 2,945 of the Regional Roundtables were held; nine interregional and two interstate.
Some of the activities carried out during the Peace Days were: Reforestation, shoots, chess competitions, creation of murals and dissemination of the Women’s Rights Booklet.
Workshops for Peace and against Addictions were also given; dance days, reading marathons, sports fairs and educational activities, among others, were organized.
