The report of the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health (Minsa), specifies that until this Wednesday, February 16, in the world 416,696,790 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 are reported, of which 337,360,312 are recovered and 5,860,008 have died for a lethality of 1.4%.
In Panama, 746,695 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 have been recorded to date, of which 1,328 are new cases. For the last 24 hours, 15 deaths are reported and two from previous dates are updated for a total of 7,987 deaths and a lethality of 1.1%.
8,121 recovered people are reported for a cumulative of 727,922 recovered. 10,645 tests were applied for a positivity of 12.5%.
Active cases decrease to 10,787, of which 10,434 are in home isolation and 352 hospitalized.
Those in isolation are divided into 10,356 at home and 78 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 295 in the ward and 57 in the ICU.
