This Wednesday the interview process was carried out with the 13 citizens selected so far for the position of Public Defender.
The president of the commission of judicial nominations, deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, explained that after the nomination of 28 Venezuelans were selected 13 who are being interviewed today
“At the end of the interviews, the information will be compared and we will have the names of the executables that will be presented before the plenary session of the National Assembly,” he said.
From the Bolivian Museum, he added that it is a comprehensive evaluation that will determine next week the chosen ones.
He stressed that this is part of the re-institutionalization process that is being carried out by the National Assembly.
Similarly, deputy Jose Gregorio Correa, a member of the Committee, stressed that the interviews are based on article 3 of the Public Defense Law.
Once the new public defender has been appointed, he or she will automatically take office.
