The Ministry of Health reported this Saturday 128 new Covid cases and no deaths, which keeps the total number of deaths in the Dominican Republic due to the pandemic at 4,384.
With the new positives, there are 651,467 infected by coronavirus since the start of the pandemic in the country. Of them, 645,355 have recovered and 1,728 are confirmed active cases to date.
The health bulletin indicates that in the Hospital Network there are 48 beds occupied by Covid patients, 5 of them in Intensive Care.
Of the 128 new infections by Covid, 639 to the National District and 12 correspond to Greater Santo Domingo.
On this last day, 1,200 PCR tests and 260 antigenic. Of the total, 906 were subsequent samples and 554 for the first time.
Daily positivity stood at 23.10% and that of the last four weeks at 5.49%.
