128 migrants deported from the US arrive in Venezuela, including two teenagers

Since the capture of Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores, on January 3, five flights with Venezuelan migrants deported from the US have arrived in the country. In total, 927 compatriots have returned, according to official figures


This Monday the 26th, flight number 103 landed on Venezuelan soil with 128 migrants deported from Arizona, United States. Among the passengers were 89 men and 22 women, two teenagers, 14 children and one infant.

The information was confirmed on the Instagram account of the Ministry of the Interior, Justice and Peace. In the message he noted that the repatriation flights are part of the “diplomatic efforts and the activation of international mechanisms” coordinated with the Great Mission Return to the Homeland.

Upon arrival, the migrants received medical attention and the security check established in the authorities’ protocol to verify the status in which they arrived in the country and their legal situation.

The official entity highlighted that these actions to complete the arrival of citizens who are outside the country are a “show of commitment to all Venezuelans.”
