A 12 -year -old boy died this Saturday, July 26 at Channels de Lechería, Urbaneja Municipality of the Anzoátegui state, receiving the impact of lightning in the middle of a storm.
The victim, Nahum Villael Blanco was with several relatives enjoying a beach day, who was transferred by civil protection officials to the IVSS Hospital Domingo Guzmán Lander de las Garzas, in Barcelona.
The information was released by Mayor Manuel Ferreira through a video that uploaded on his Instagram account, who described as a tragic event and explained that the ray directly hit the child, with residence in Barcelona.
The president urged prudence during assistance to beaches and rivers during these days, for storm forecasts with electric shocks due to the passage of the tropical wave number 20 of the season.
He assured that the spas of the municipality were evicted preventively.
