Twelve people died and another four were injured in an accident that occurred this Friday afternoon on the international highway that connects Oruro with the Pisiga border crossing. The fatal accident occurred when a truck collided head-on with a minibus.
According to unofficial data, the accident occurred at 3:00 p.m. on Good Friday. The causes of the accident are unknown, but fire personnel arrived at the scene to rescue the injured people and transfer them to hospitals. Also, to transfer the bodies of the deceased to the morgue.
Police officers also arrived at the scene to investigate the incident and collect evidence.
