A federal judge in Toluca, state of Mexico, handed down sentences ranging from 154 to 340 years in prison against 12 members of the cartel. The Michoacan family who operated in Toluca and Lerma for the crimes of organized crime, kidnapping, aggravated homicide, attempted homicide, aggravated robbery and aggravated robbery.

Those sentenced were detained since 2013 and are held in the prisons of Santiaguito, Nezahualcóyotl Bordo de Xochiaca, Tenango del Valle, Chalco and Texcoco, in the state of Mexico.
