The minor had traveled to the facilities located in La Guaira with his uncles and some neighbors, who reported him missing to the authorities after searching for him for more than an hour.
After learning of the incident, the search and rescue bodies began work to find the young man; finding it around 2:00 pm about 100 meters from the shore.
Paramedics and members of Vargas Civil Protection also moved to the place to remove the body and transfer it to the Pariata morgue.

The Minister of the Interior and Justice, Remigio Ceballos, announced last March 30th that 141,587 officials from the citizen security forces and the National Armed Forces (FAN) would be deployed throughout the country in connection with the Safe Easter 2023 Plan.
