Accompanied by members of the Army of the Dominican Republic (ERD) and the Navy of the Dominican Republic (ARD), the National Police began an operation of checks and searches in sectors of the city of San Cristóbal.
At the beginning of the operation aimed at reinforcing the “My Safe Country” program, 106 people were registered, of which 11 were detained for investigation purposes.
According to the South Central Regional Directorate of the Police, 98 motorcycles were also registered, 42 of which were retained for different violations of the Traffic Law.
In addition, 13 vehicles were registered and dispatched, 4 jucas and the same number of tires were seized.
The searches and checks were carried out in the Madre Vieja South and North, Pueblo Nuevo Sainaguà, Los Britos, Canastica, downtown and Las Flores sectors.
