For his part, the National Reconstruction Commissioner, David Cervantes Peredo, explained that more than 33 billion pesos have been invested in reconstruction and rehabilitation of buildings due to the earthquakes that occurred in 2017 and 2018.

Likewise, in reconstruction of affected historical sites and monuments, the resources of the treasury have been more than 705 million pesos in 147 municipalities of nine states.

The director of the National Institute of Anthropology and History, Diego Prieto, reported that of the initial register of 2 thousand 340 properties damaged by the earthquakes, the full restoration of one thousand 434 has been completed, and the rest are in the process of renovation.
