A plane with 109 migrants deported from the United States arrived in the country last Friday, February 13, from the city of Miami.
The Ministry of the Interior and Justice reported that 83 men, 15 women, 10 children and a 17-year-old adolescent arrived.
“They were treated by officials from the citizen security bodies, who applied the corresponding comprehensive care protocols and then were reinserted into society,” the authorities indicated.
The plane was operated by the American airline Global Crossing, and landed at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía.

According to the institution, it is flight 111 that brings Venezuelan migrants who are deported from the United States after having entered that country irregularly. Since last year, Caracas and Washington signed a migration agreement, which was maintained even amid tensions over the US military deployment in the Caribbean Sea.
Last Wednesday, 125 migrants arrived on a flight also from the city of Miami.
According to government figures, more than 20,000 people have returned to the country after being deported from the United States.
